A pottery studio in the heart of Paris’s 11th arrondissement
The Slow Potter studio is located in Paris 11th, 27 Rue Titon, in the heart of the Faidherbes village and a stone’s throw from the Faubourg Saint Antoine— the Paris neighborhood where craftsmanship has thrived since the 15th century. Rue Titon itself is steeped in history: it once housed the “Royal Wallpaper Factory,” from which not only the first hot-air balloon took off, but also, a few years later, the first workers’ movements of the French Revolution.
Built at the back of a courtyard, next to a former carpentry shop and a beautifully renovated industrial building, the studio was carefully designed with the help of the designers and craftsmen of La Remanufacture next door. Extremely bright and almost bucolic, it is an ideal place to create, work, and exchange with fellow potters and pottery enthusiasts.

Discover the joy of creating with your hands
No prior experience required. The studio is open to all, beginners and experienced alike. Groups are small to encourage interaction and personalized guidance. All materials are provided, and each technique is explained step by step.
The approach is progressive and intuitive: experiment, make mistakes, try again, and move forward at your own pace. Each participant leaves with a creation made with their own hands.
This studio emphasizes a simple and authentic craft practice. The goal is not to produce quickly, but to work the clay slowly and attentively.
The pieces are made of stoneware, thrown or hand-built. They are unique, bearing the mark of their maker. Even imperfect, they have personal value and a story.
