Pottery classes in Paris for those who want to create differently
Slow Potter offers pottery classes in Paris’s 11th arrondissement in an intimate format. With a maximum of three participants, the classes can be adapted to each person’s level and desires. The bright and charming setting guarantees a true moment of relaxation in the heart of the Faidherbe village (11th arrondissement). Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, you can learn to shape, throw, or hand-build, at your own pace.
Classes designed for all levels and all rhythms
Our pottery classes are for everyone: students, professionals, retirees, families. Groups are limited to three participants to allow for personalized guidance.
The pottery initiation class offers a first approach: centering, hollowing, raising, smoothing. The goal is to learn the basics without pressure.
While the wheel-throwing initiation workshop is the most popular, a hand-building initiation class is also offered—less technical than wheel-throwing, but just as creative.
To progress further, you can then take the advanced wheel-throwing initiation course. This workshop allows you to experiment with different techniques of both throwing and glazing.
For a fully personalized training, private or couple’s wheel-throwing sessions with Chentar are also available.

The studio is open every day by appointment.
Flexible formats, suited to all budgets
